RAMMS - URL Error
IDLNETURL::GET: CCurlException: Error: Http Get Request Failed. Error = http: Client Error. Remote Host(
www.wsl.ch), Http
ErrCode(404), Http Err(Not Found) Http ErrMsg(No HTML found).
This or a similar error can occur, if RAMMS can not establish an internet connection to do the RAMMS update. Check your firewall, you have to allow the file 'IDL71\bin\bin.x86\idlrt.exe' in your RAMMS installation folder to access the internet.
Workaround:
There is another way to update your RAMMS-version. Procedure:
- Start RAMMS
- Choose 'Help -> Update... -> Get Update Manually (Download to local folder)' and save the zip-file to your harddrive.
- Unzip the zip-file to a temporary folder.
- Choose 'Help -> Update... -> Install Update from local folder' and choose the temporary folder from above.
- Follow the instructions to update RAMMS
- Exit RAMMS
- Restart RAMMS -> you successfully updated your RAMMS-version!
